Our Forever.
Alhamdulillah.
On Friday, the 21st of December, we tied the knot!
We were high school sweethearts.
We met when we were in Form 1. We became friends then later classmates.
I had a huge crush on him in Form 2 (gatai naa). I pretended I didn't have an HB pencil to use for lukisan teknik so I could continuously borrow his. Oh young love HAHAH kalau anak aku macam ni, aku sepak.
We started dating not long after and continued so until the end of school.
And our story takes a break there.
We went our separate ways after school ended and we barely kept in touch.
We both met other people, and we never saw each other for 5 years.
As fate would have it, we met again about a year and a half ago.
We both thought the other wasn't single and just caught up as friends.
And the rest were just a blur.
I knew I fell for him again when we were driving around aimlessly in my car and I had to look away from his smile because I felt like my heart was about to burst. And I never wanted that moment to end.
He met with my dad one evening, had a "man talk" of some sort, and asked for my hand. We met with each other's families and had our parents' blessings.
He took his family to meet mine last January and formally proposed (then they Facetimed me afterwards at 3am GMT haha)
And that was it.
Since we met again, our journey has been eased. And I can't even properly express how much. I am just so thankful.
